Outside the classroom

Activities – Beyond the Classroom

At BISC, we know that many powerful learning experiences take place outside of the classroom. Co-Curricular Activities are not ‘extras’ but a key part of the broad educational experience that we provide.

We are passionate about the development of the ‘whole child’, both academically and as unique individuals. We recognise that different students are motivated by different experiences and have different interests and passions.
We offer alongside timetabled lessons, the opportunity for all students to voluntarily participate in a range of activities, from sports, drama, cooking, robotics, ballet, foreign languages, yoga, martial arts – the list is extensive!
As students progress through our school, they are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities that are on offer, including service learning, outdoor education trips, and a wide range of special events, such as stage performances, international celebrations and community projects.
Outdoor learning spaces on campus include creative play equipment, blossoming nature zones, an amphitheater and open spaces to promote mental wellbeing. Wherever possible, the curriculum is brought to life through educational visits and field trips within Morocco, and beyond.
At BISC, we believe school should be fun and rewarding, and activities are just one way in which we achieve this aim.
