Physical Education (PE) or ‘Sport’ is an important part of school life for all BISC students, from Early Years to the final stages of Secondary School.
We provide for all students timetabled PE lessons throughout the week, lead by a specialist PE Team of qualified British teachers and assistants. The PE Team are accomplished athletes who offer a broad range of high-level instruction to motivate students to be the best that they can be – the next generation of leading sportspeople.
In addition to timetabled PE lessons for all ages, we encourage BISC students to participate in a large number of sporting activities available through our Co-curricular Activity Programme, Sports Days, Interhouse Events and matches with other schools.
Our excellent sporting facilities enable us to provide a wide range of competitive and non-competitive events throughout the year. Our campus offers a first-class swimming pool, sports fields, dance studios, an external basketball court and two indoor gymnasia. We encourage maximum participation, individual aspiration, squad achievement and personal excellence.
Our large and extensive sports programme offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of traditional games, swimming, gymnastics and track and field events. These sporting events promote healthy competition, pursuit of excellence, social and cultural interaction and the development of friendships both inside and outside of school. Above all, we wish to promote a love of sport as part of a healthy lifestyle that will allow all students to flourish long into the future.
