British International School of Casablanca

Through the Cambridge curriculum enriched by our Moroccan context, the British International School of Casablanca prepares students for the 21st Century world and enables them to develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. The Cambridge curriculum develops deep subject knowledge, conceptual understanding and higher order thinking skills and is used in over 10,000 schools across 160 countries. Students and parents can be confident that Cambridge qualifications will be of enduring value, in students’ home countries and internationally.

Cambridge offers a coherent curriculum with clear progression at each stage for students aged 5 to 19. From Cambridge Primary to Cambridge Lower Secondary, through to Cambridge Upper Secondary and then on to Cambridge Advanced: at each stage students build on their previous learning.

In Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary the curriculum focuses on Mathematics, English, Science, ICT and Global Perspectives. In Upper Secondary and Advanced the structure and breadth of Cambridge programmes ensures that students are offered the choices and combinations of subjects that match their strengths and interests. At every stage the Cambridge curriculum develops in students not only cognitive skills but also personal attributes.

"Education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire."
William Butler Yeats
