Assessments Coordinator

Key Stage Leaders are competent teachers who coordinate teaching, planning and learning within their respective key stages, and if it’s necessary, communicate and connect with other Key Stage Leaders to ensure continuity and progression throughout the curriculum. They typically assess not only the academic progress of students in their key stages, but also the performance of the teachers, taking into account evidence of the puplis’ performance in different tasks and tests. They are expected to maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom and contribute to and participate in the team working ethos of the school.

The Assessment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the administration, management and conducting of progression tests, check points and other assessments in a safe and secure environment and ensures that all baseline and other results are properly documented and reported. The AC works with the Head of Primary, Key Stage Leaders and other critical staff to collate, analyse and understand results to better plan necessary and targeted support.
